TEAM, The Edified Alliance of MFA’ites, the Alumni Association of Masters in Finance and Accounting of Bangalore University, was formed in the year 2005 to serve the interest of the current and Ex-students of the said course. Since then, it has been a partner in the University's mission of discovering and transmitting knowledge with the highest intellectual and professional standards, and to prepare outstanding professionals to serve the communities where they live and work, to assume civic and social responsibilities, and to work to promote harmony, justice and prosperity in the society.

AIMS AND OBJECTS: The Association is established with the following aims and objects : a.To provide an organization through which the Alumni of the MFA, faculty, staff and students of the course in the Bangalore University can interact with each other for the purposes outlined below :- i.To improve the status of the course in areas pertaining to academics, infrastructure, industry interactions. ii.To facilitate improvement in networking among the members of the association and providing a platform for social interactions.

iii.To encourage friendly feelings and unanimity among the members and to ensure solidarity in the matter of interest concerning all MFA’ites.

b.To render assistance to students of MFA through grants, scholarships and prizes;

c.To provide assistance in academics and placements;

d.To promote professional excellence among the members of the Association.

e.To raise funds, collect subscriptions, donations and receive endowments, grants or contributions and to utilize them properly in furtherance of the objects mentioned herein;

f.To publish journal/ news letters/ periodicals/ souvenir/ websites and such other media for furtherance of commerce education; and

g.To do all such things as may be deemed incidental or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing objects.

Emblem and its Relevance:

It's good to be individually brilliant and to have strong core competencies, but unless you're able to work in a team and harness each other's core competencies, you'll always perform below par because there will always be situations at which you'll do poorly and someone else does well. To state this in one line “You can do what I can’t do, and I can do what you can’t do, and together we can do wonders”. With this theme, considering the need to come together and have a strong network, the said emblem depicted by , states that this alliance of MFA’ites is the one which is enlightened, and well connected. And all this has the power of , with the touch of tangy orange colour depicting enthusiasm, determination and success. All in all the emblem is simple and yet has a lot to convey, for MFA’ties to work for a better cause.

Activities :
Seminars / Workshops : Conducting seminars and workshops in the area of finance, accounts, systems, etc.

Alumni counseling : A dynamic group of people from the student group, who can be contacted for discussing any topic, ranging form academics, to interviews to promotions to personal matters or anything, that you feel like discussing. Meetings & Reunions : Members regularly meet up and exchange views and opinions on various topics and issues. Placement Assistance : Assisting in placements for freshers as well as people in the industry. Industrial / corporate Visits: The students are encouraged to feel the corporate world at a very early stage.
